Adult Religious Education Sunday mornings at two times (9:30am and 11:00am). All sessions are drop-in friendly. Sunday, April 7 - In the Library at 9:30: Meditation. Meditation session in the Vipassana tradition, led by Bob Leger. The format consists of a brief check in, a period of meditation, a reading, and a discussion.
- In the Community Room at 9:30: Social Justice. Sandy Cawthern, Rachel Gardiner, and Nikki Drumb will lead sessions drawn from "Building the World We Dream About: A Welcoming Congregation Curriculum on Race and Ethnicity."
- In the Assembly Room of the Enrichment Center at 11:15: One Room Schoolhouse. Join an intergenerational exploration of the 4th UU Principle: "We search for what is true."
Sunday, April 14 - In the Library at 9:30: Spiritual Literacy. This DVD series looks at aspects of spirituality for each letter of the alphabet. Charles Davis will lead the discussion.
- In the Community Room at 9:30: Compassionate Communication. Based on the course by psychologist Marshall Rosenberg, these sessions, led by Mary Murphy, will help participants "honor what's alive" in each of us.
- In the Library at 11:00: Everyday Spiritual Practices. A book discussion about exploring the sacred in our daily lives, using "Everyday Spiritual Practices" by Scott Alexander. Led by Mary Ann Horne.

Congregation & Beyond: A Discussion Three Sundays, April 7, 14, & 21, 5:00-6:00pm in the Hiett Library Published in February of 2012, this short-but-provocative white paper by the president of our Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), The Rev. Life Transitions Class A 4-Session Program about Dealing with Life Changes The First and Third Tuesday of March and April (3/5, 3/19, 4/2, 4/16); 7:15-8:45pm in the Hiett Library. There are many transitions in our lives. We leave home. Relationships begin and end. Children come into our lives and loved ones die. We start new jobs, then leave or lose them. We relocate. Many, many changes. Some we choose; some we do not. However, all transitions share some common elements, and if we can understand those elements the roller coaster ride of change is often easier to navigate.
