Church Governance Our church is based on a democratic model, with an elected Board of Trustees working with professional staff and volunteer staff. A committee structure helps organize and communicate the work of the church, and allow members volunteer opportunities within the church and the community. The Leadership Development Committee has responsibility for matching member interests and skills with opportunities to serve and learn new skills. To be asked to serve as a leader is an honor, and to be asked to serve at the highest levels of leadership positions at our Chuch a great one. However our Congregation is always the driving force. All members in good standing attend Congregational meetings and vote on issues, make decisions together, elect the Board of Trustees and more.
