Our Banner Vandalized… Again

Sunday morning found our front yard banner– which proclaimed love for all– once again vandalized and cut down.  This will again be replaced, now for the 4th time.  We will not abandon hope or love in the face of hate.

Campus Opens for Limited Outdoor Events
The campus has been closed for in-person events since March due to safety concerns from the Covid pandemic. Now, the outdoor campus at 1U has reopened for in-person events that are sponsored by the church.
Following a new church policy is needed to allow outdoor gatherings with restrictions to ensure the safety of participants and staff.
The full policy is here: Policy on Outdoor Campus Events and the form to request an outdoor space is here  For more information, contact Amy Fairweather, our Church Administrator: 407-898-3621 or FUCO@cfl.rr.com

Playground Renovation

The sanctuary isn’t the only thing getting renovated these days.  The playground in the center of the Enrichment Center is getting a redo, thanks to the generosity of a church family. The colorful hopscotch tiles and balance beams are installed. Watch for other playful items such as colorful multi step tiles representing the 7 Principles, and a climb and discover cave. There will also be benches. Two child-size rockers are being added to the Gore Hall porch to reflect that kids live here, too.
