The mission of the First Unitarian Church of Orlando is to exemplify liberal religion in Central Florida with a commitment to lifelong spiritual growth and compassionate service to the community.

Our commitment to lifelong spiritual growth leads to a variety of programs for children and youth, as well as for adults.

Children are always welcome at 1U. On Sunday mornings during the school year, children have opportunities to attend worship, participate in classes based upon their age, and attend a monthly multi-age One Room School House.

The first 15 minutes of worship is designed to include the children before they go off to their other activities. When classes are not in session, group activities are offered. Children are always welcome in our Sanctuary, and we have an attached “Wiggle Room” from which the service can be seen and heard. Nursery care is offered all morning for children four and under.

Learning doesn’t stop as you grow. Sunday mornings have at least one adult education offering during the summer and often three during the school year. There are also a variety offerings available throughout the week.
