The Francis Dávid Café is a Sunday morning Adult Education track at 1U that creates a supportive environment for conversation based on the quote, often attributed to Francis Davíd*, “We need not think alike to love alike.” To explore our diversity, participants contribute questions on a variety of topics for conversation, in this way customizing the dialog to whoever is in the room.
Sessions take place on the first Sunday of each month at 9:30 am in the Library in Gore Hall. Watch the Weekly Update for any schedule changes. Bob Leger facilitates.
*Francis David (1510–1579) was a sixteenth century Transylvanian Unitarian (Nontrinitarian) preacher who founded the Unitarian Church of Transylvania.
