Many issues that we study and act on overlap or intersect with each other. Increasingly, we are learning that issues must be considered together. An example is that of reproductive justice. UUs have a long history of advocating for reproductive rights. More recently, we have explored the way that economic inequality makes it difficult for some women to exercise those rights. It becomes obvious that for a right to have meaning, one must have the ability to exercise it. Reproductive justice asks how we can ensure that all women have access to the rights for which we advocate.
